The former Bolton player has been at Preston for two seasons now with his last appearance at Wembley as a substitute in the play off final victory. The striker has been offered a new deal in a player coach capacity but Davies has yet to accept.
The striker has been keeping his options open during the off season and has yet to decide where his future lies. Davies has been doing more media work over the past couple of years and he may well be able to secure a better deal down this avenue at this stage of his career.
