There has been uncertainty in the goalkeeping department for the best part of a year now. The manager has interchanged between Maxwell and Rudd with little between the two.
Both have made errors at variosu times and neither are perfect. Rumeours have flown around since Neil's time in charge that he has had issues with both but at the moment Rudd has kep possession of the jersey.
It was thought that Neil would move for a keeper in January with Maxwell the most likely to be released. Hudson has now been recalled from Bury on loan and it might well be that Neil gives the youngster some action if he is unable to bring in a new pair of hands.
