There was little to report at Oakwell save for Preston should have had a penalty when Jordan Hughill was bundled over in the box. Chances were at a premium and Ben Pearson picked up his standard booking but apart from that there is little to report.
North End appear to be anchored to midtable with the top six now starting to breakaway. Preston are well above the drop zone and only ned a handul of more points to confirm Championship football next season.
Preston only really started the season in September and it is no coincidence that when McGeady arrived North End's form picked up. There have been inconsistencies with Preston dropping points when they should have picked up more.
North End also lack quality in depth an this will need to be addressed over time or with investment if possible otherwise Grayson will be performing another sterling job this time next season to keep us in the division.
