The youngster from Manchester United has bene on loan at Motherwell for the firts half of the season. He was set to agree an extension but Preston have agreed a feww with United to take Grimshaw on a permanent basis.
Grimshaw can play in midfielder but also anywhere along the back four which will assist in his playing time. His signing, along wioth Pearson, now casts doubts over the futures of other midfielders in the squad in aprticular Kilkenny and Brownhill who have bene linked with moves away.
