Healy who has rarely featured for the Black Cats finds himself falling further down the pecking order and now appears to be the time for Healy to find first team football elsewhere.
The frontman has played for Preston, Leeds, Fulham and Sunderland but has not had regular football for a while. Preston would only be able to do a loan deal should they wish to bring Healy back to Deepdale.
