The Whites will play at home against Chesterfield with the date to be confirmed but the match will likely to take place during the week commencing 5 December.
Preston have already defated Chesterfield once this season and will hope to pick up some form before the semi final game. North End are one of four remaining teams in the northern section with a further four in the southern section.
