It seems that Daryl Horgan just didn't fit into the plans of Alex Neil. Despite a strong pre-season and forcing his way into contention it seemed that he was always linked with a move away.
A deal was struck with Hibernian meaning Horgan moved north of the border on a permanent basis. It seems that Neil is still trying to move players out who do not fit his plans.
