Injury Concerns Following Rovers Defeat

Midfielder McKenna looks the most doubtful for The Whites opening game of the new season this coming weekend after he finished the 1-0 defeat to Rovers with a tight hamstring.

"Paul was feeling his hamstring tightening up and we maybe asked too much of him," Whites boss Craig Brown said.

Brown thinks Healys injury is less serious: "We are hoping with David it is a kick in the cals and not a strain because a kick will heal more quickly," he said.

"A pulled muscle would be a disaster for us.

"If Healy's out we have only Andy Smith and Richard Cresswell left up front."
