The striker who was injured in the summer has had continual aching problems in both groins which don't seem to cease. Simpson has ordered the player to rest until the specialist finds out the exact problem.

On a more positive note - i know we have all heard this before but Callum Davidson has been given the all clear by the specialist! He is set to feature in a reserve fixture against Blackpool next Wednesday ahead of the busy festive period.
