Keeper Injury Woe

The England Under 21 keeper, who celebrated his 21st Birthday yesterday, was substituted 39 minutes into the 2-1 win against QPR and it has been confirmed that he has broken two bones in his hand after inadvertently catching the back of a QPR players head during the game at Deepdale.

Gavin Ward deputised for Lonergan on Tuesday night and The Whites are now considering calling back Jonathan Gould from his loan spell at Hereford as cover during Lonergans absence.
