Whilst Sam Allardyce has bene at Preston games to watch his loan player, it is understood that Sunderland have had an initial offer of £3 million from Tottenahm for the keeper.
Pickford cannot be recalled by Sunderland until January and it is unclear whether Allardyce will require the youngster for first team duties or whether they cash in on the under 21 star.
The keeper has been exceptional this season but if he does move on it seems Preston will make a loan move for Sam Johnstone. The United keeper who spent time at Preston last season has been made available for loan and aparently rejected a loan move to Fulham on Friday.
