The Whites made one change with captain Clarke returning from his head injury in place of Wiseman at full back. Preston hadn't conceded a goal for five games but this run was ended against a Doncaster side who proved why they are chalenging for the play-offs.

North End started off well having thye early spell of possession and it was Daniel Johnson once again who showed to be the prominent force int he line-up. The midfielder slotted in a left foot hot from the edge of the box which went in off the post.

Preston then seemed to sit back and allow the visitors to come back intot he game. After the break Doncaster were the dominant side in both possession and territory and it was only a matter of time before they equalised.

Forrester slotted home for the visitors and moments later Main headed home a cross beyond the reach of Johnstone. It was nothing more than the visitors deserved.
