The young Blackburn midfielder played for just over half a match against Leicester in Brown's first league game in charge. The midfielder looked impressive but went off with a groin injury which required surgery. Blackburn expect that Linganzi will be allowed to train back with Preston within the next two weeks which will give Phil Brown a midfield selection headache.
