Less than 24 hours after confirming McAVoy's departure, Preston announced that Ryan Lowe would take the helm and be in charge for this Saturday;s game against Barnsley.
Lowe has had success at Bury and Plymouth. Preston have allegedly paid compensation to Plymouth in the region of £250,000 to secure the services of Lowe.
The new manager has promised an attacking brand of football which should see a change from the past few months. We hope that Lowe can take Preston to the next level and wish him well over the forthcoming months and years.
