Luck’s definitely not On Our Side

Any player or fans must believe that we are never going to get any luck this season after the recent events at West Brom when cool Jonathon Gould got sent off for allegedly tumbling down Lee Hughes.

Things are just not going our way in any situation. From free kicks to penalty decisions, to sending-off’s. We just aren’t winning anything. But realistically we can’t blame the referee every game, and we are going to have to start looking at things in the games that we need to do to win.

The finishing has been disappointing from two of the best forwards in the division. However, the creativity to set up chances has been poor. If we had two players on the wing that delivered more crosses then there would be no chance that them strikers wouldn’t score at least a goal every game. But Brown is messing round with the midfield and the formations like he did last season.

It was great to see Sean Gregan against us on Monday, who deservedly got great reception from the North End fans. I met him a few times and he loves this club. I wish him well in his career.

Next up we have Stoke who are on great form at the moment. We definitely need to get three points from this game!
