Mellor could be in line for Stoke game

It is believed that Preston striker Neil Mellor could be in contention for Preston North End's next home game against Stoke City.

Mellor who hasn't yet featured for the Lilywhites since his summer move from Liverpool could provide some welcomed competition to North End's strikeforce as Preston look to bolster their points tally and challenge for automatic promotion.
