Mixed Results In Opening Friendlies

The first half of both matches featured mostly first team and squad players whilst the second half was taken over by the youth players.

Preston were all square at Bamber Bridge at half time but went onto lose 6-2 whilst at Chorley they romped away with a 5-2 win. Hawley and Mellor both scoring at Chorley whilst everyone else got a run out after the first full week of pre-season training was complete.
