Nash To Stay... For Now

Nash met Simpson to explain the situation. It appears that the keeper is disappointed at the way the Deepdale board have handled things over the last two seasons by selling the best players at the football club.

No criticism was directed at the new manager and Carlo apologised and said he should have chatted to the new boss before making his comments.

Nash has now put his frustration behind him but maintains the directors should have more ambition if they wish to get promoted. Carlo is set to play some part in the friendly with Hearts and explained he is 100% committed to the club with two years remaining on his contract. Until an offer is accepted by the board Carlo said he will not even think about moving.
