Preston were rewarded with a second round tie against Oldham to be played on Tuesday 23 August at Deepdale. The club have helpfully closed half of the Sir Tom Finney Stand whilst opening up the other two home stands presumably expecting a larger attendance than the match against Hartlepool.
Season ticket holders can reserve their seats although presumably this is not available to season ticket holders in the closed section of the Sir Tom Finney stand although the club website appears to remain silent over what to do in this situation.
There was a debacle at the Hartlepool match in terms of lengthy queues at kick off but Preston have simply reiterated where tickets can be purchased from rather unhelpfully.
