Nugent started the match up front with Arsenal frontman and teenage sensation Theo Walcott and the pair proved to be a handful for the Swiss defence as bot netted in the first half to give England the lead.
The game became a close fought contest as the Swiss pegged back England with two goals before a late winner from James Milner saw England home.
