Over And Out

Preston created little throughout the match with Nugent being replaced having most likely played his last away game for the club.

Preston were level until late on when an Alexander handball gave Plymouth a penalty which was converted before Plymouth doubled their lead late on.

Preston have been in the top six positions for the majority of the season but quite frankly their form of the last two months has warranted that of a relegation doomed side rather than one pushing for the Premiership.

Preston's last dozen games or so have been against sides outside of the top six. They now must win against top of the table Birmingham next Sunday and hope for defeats from at least two of several other sides if they are to creep back into the top six. Birmingham wil also need the win to secure the title.

I honestly don't believe Preston will get back into the top six but more worryingly is how Simspon turns this round for the start of next season as Preston have been very poor over the last few weeks with the exception of the coventry game.
