Preston played out a one all draw against Tranmere in mid-week. The game was a pre-season friendly although North End's build up is interrupted with the League Cup tie against Mansfield.
Barkhuizen gave Preston the lead before Payne equalised in the last moments of the game. North End will take on Mansfield before they contunue pre-season the following week.
