North End kicked off their pre-season camapign at Bamber Bridge on Friday evening. An own goal from Lawlor in the first half was followed by a Doyle finish int he second. Grayson changed a consdierable number of personnel for the different halves. Churchman got a consolation for the home side.
On Saturday Preston travelled to Chorley where they were behind within a minute. O'Keefe scored fromt he penalty spot before Garner and Hughill scored to give Preston the win.
Preston have travelled to Cork for a few days away to use facilities their for pre-season training before returning to face Oldham.
