Preston Continue Good Form

A Nolan free kick saw an interchange between Chaplow and Brown before Mellor managed to head home before the half hour mark.

Preston had a further two headers cleared off the line before Swansea forced Lonergan into a save with his feet in the middle of the second half. Swansea rarely threatened and Sedgewick on as a substitute through a miss touch managed to beat the defender before crossing for an unmarke Elliott to tap in to seal the victory.

Some ugle scenes then ensued with Swansea fans just before the goal was scored tried running across the divide at the Preston fans although the handful who did try were all caught. There was then a rumble on the pitch before the final whistle which sees Preston continue a good start to the season.
