Preston are now within touching distance off being in the end of season play offs after results went their way on Good Friday. Defeat for Cardiff put them completely out of the picture. Wolves faired little better by drawing at home to Watford. These results mean only Wolves can catch Preston if the Whites lose all their remaining letters and Wolves manage to over haul the goal difference.

In total, Preston need one point from their remaining matches to be absolutely secure. However, manager Davies will be looking to climb the table as they no wlie four points off watfors in third. The Whites will be looking to keep another clean sheet and gain more momentum towards the season finale. Watford have three matches left after picking up only 7 out of 21 matches and with Leeds facing the top two over the Easter weekend Preston have a chance to gain some ground over their rivals.

Tomorrow's match at Leicester will be tough with the home side safe from relegation and fans will need no reminders about the Leicester forwards Fryatt and Hulme who were linked with the Deepdale outfit.
