Grayson was forced into changes due to injuries as the season reaches a conclusion over the next month. North End have hit a slightly subdued patch recently althought htier last two wins were away at Bolton and Blackburn.
The game at the Riverside was the reverse of the opening match of the season and shows how far Preston have come with safety already secured.
The home side scored the only goal of the game after 32 minutes through Adomah although North End did have chances to equalise in the second half.
Preston were disappointed to come away without a point but it highlighted one of the main defficiencies this season which is breaking down and scoring against the top teams. This may be something to address in the summer should funds be made available.
