Preston Hang On

Preston were faced to battle against Leicester in the second half after easily dominating the first half. Two good saves from man of the match Nash meant another clean sheet for the Whites.

This victory and slip ups elsewhere meant Preston go joint top with Cardiff after the Welshmen were defeated on Friday night. Birmingham were also pegged back by a late Joddy Craddock goal agaimst local rivals Wolves whilst Burnley were defeated at West Brom.

Preston now have two home games whilst Cardiff and Birmingham go on their travels. Preston will hope they can keep up their impressive home record and create a gap between themselves and the chasing pask over the coming weeks.
