Preston Hold Leaders

The early season had shown that Preston were competitive in this division but they needed to cut out the mistakes in order to take points from the teams at the top end of the table.

It seems that finally the players are getting the message. After a win away at Charlton they held Brighton to a goalless draw. Chances were limited and Grayson will accept a point for such a tough assignment.

North End now face two home games against teams in and around them in the table. This should be an opportunity to lift themselves up the table starting with Bolton on Saturday followed by Nottingham Forest next week.
