Rumour surfaced recently that Preston were interested in the players and it has now been revealed that Peterborough have rejected three bids from Preston but allegedly a deal is imminent.
After Greg Cunningham departed Preston were always looking for a left back who could back up Josh Earl and share the duties over what is likely to be a long season. It seems that Hughes fits that bill.
