Preston have been linked with several names but there has been nothing concrete from the club yet with respect to a permanent signing. There was some suggestion that the transfer record could be broken by the club.
The latest name linked with the club is Kayden Jackson who is currently at Accrington and helped them secure promotion to Leafue One with a bagful of goals last season.
It is reported that Accrington would only do a deal if the figure was in excess of £1 million. Peterborough and Rotherham are the front runners for his signature with Ipswich also said to be monitoring the situation.
