Following on from Tom Barkhuizen earlier in the summer, Preston have now agreed new three era deals for Alan Browne and Ben Davies. It is a sign that Preston want to develop their youngre players into consistent performers at Championship level.
It is well known that Preston do not have significant cash to spend on players and so the development of the youngsters is paramount to any future success for the club.
Davies has spent lengthy periods away on loan but this season he has an opportunity to shine given the injury to Clarke and the depleted resources at the back.
