It was probably disappointment all round as both teams were hoping for a tie against Premier League opposition after battling through the first two rounds.
The game will be played at Deepdale and it is the first time the clubs will have met in a competitive match. Cheltenham climbed up into the league a number of years ago now but tthe clubs ahve never crossed paths.
The game will take place in the week commencing 20 September with Chelthenham having bbeen promoted to League One last season whch should be a good test for Preston.
