Simpson Questions Players

Last updated : 04 April 2007 By @pnemad
After losing five out of there last six away matches Simpson has questioned the performance of his side once again. Preston having the easiest run in out of all the top teams according to the league table once again blew their chance.

Defeats against lowly opposition such as Luton, Leeds, QPR, Hull, Burnley and a point at Southend have been the undoing of Preston's season.

Simpson now questions the squad of players if they have the ambition to go up after two unsuccessful seasons prior to his appointment in the play offs it appears the best the Whites can hope for is another play off finish and that is far from certain on current form.

Preston failed to threaten QPR after an early Nugent sitter was missed. Blackstock scored a superb goal for the Hoops and despite late penalty claims the Whites looked inept and inefficient going forward.

Preston now travel to Sellhurst Park where I can see us fairing little better if we keep up our recent away performances.
