Sir Alex To Suffer The Misery
Updated Sunday, 1st April 2012
As part of the great Sir Tom Finney's 90th birthday celebrations Preston are trying to forget their recent performances and ask their fans to turn out for the great man who has loyally served the club.
Finney turns 90 later this week and his birthday will celebrated with a roll of honour guest list at Saturday's game against the MK Dons. Peter Risdale has said that David Beckham will lead the tributes with Sir Alex Ferguson, David Cameron, Sepp Blatter and David Burnstein of the FA confirmed as attending the game.
Preston have reduced prices for this match to £10 for adults which they do for the odd game during the season to entice on a bigger crowd for what would normally be a low key game. Risdale wants to stress the importance of Finney's day and hopes the fans will turn out for Sir Tom.
