Sodje had impressed during his trial spell at the club with Preston considering their attacking options for the season going forward. After Trundle became injured Sodje featured on trial in severla pre-season games.
It is thought that the contract is only short term allowing Preston to reasses the situation once Lee Trundle is back fit. This is also leaves Sodje open to look for other clubs.
