There doesn't seem to be a Championship club who haven't been linked with the striker since the start of the season. Reading and Leeds were the latest clubs to be linked with the striker.
No official bids have been received by the club and Preston are reluctant to sell the youngster who is an integral part of the side. It is unclear what figure would tempt Preston to part with Hugill but it would have to be well in excess of the £2.5 million.
