Wigan and Blackpool are also said to be interested in taking the international winger but Preston's valuation may be a little too high. The Whites have put a price tag of £1.5m on the head of Treacy with 40% going to Blackburn as part of a sell on clause.
It is believed that Burnley offered int he region of £850,000 which was turned down. It now remains to be seen if any of the other clubs make an increased offer from that of Burnley.
