Wolves Show Interest In Hugill

Paul Lambert had been keen to take Callum Robinson in the January transfer window but reports suggest he has turned his attention to Preston's leading goalscorer, Jordan Hugill.

North End had previously rejected two bids from Ipswich in January with the second bid believed to be in the region of £2.5million. I suspect Wolves will have to increase on their present position for Preston to even entertain the idea of selling Hugill.

Preston may be willing to do a deal if the price is right as shown with letting Garner go. In addition, Preston are keen to sign McGeady on a full time basis and any deal for the Irish winger will not be cheap so could be funded by the sale of others.
