The pair are part of the youth setup at Deepdale and were set to join Conor McGluaghlin in the squad until his untimely injury. The full back was being watched by full international boss Nigel Worthington on Saturday with a view to being promoted to the first team squad.
Meanwhile, Keith Treacey has had to pull out of the Irish squad due to a knee injury which kept him out of Saturday's game with Bristol City. Sean St Ledger is set to start whilst Craig Morgan has been included in the Wales squad.
