Ross Wallace came back onto th eleft wing after recovering from an ankle knock and Preston looked more potent from the start of the game attacking with intent.

They controlled the majority of the first half an hour but it was Plymouth who took the lead against the run of play. Once again Preston failed to clear a corner and a close range shot whistled past Lonergan into the back of the net.

Preston continued to dominate and managed to equalise just before half time as a cross was brought down by Parkin who managed to stab home.

The second half was all Preston's with the visiting keeper denying the Whites on several occassions as well as the woodwork being hit in the dying moments.

Preston were unable to convert their chances and now head into the weekend with a tricky visit to Reading.
