Preston Run Riot

Preston started the match positively with an unchanged eleven.  Chances were created but it was a good move down the left and a ball in from Gallagher that left Hawley to finish for his first goal of the campaign.

Hawley was lively throughout being named man of th ematch but Preston despite being dominant were pegged back before half time after a cross was turned in by Southampton.

Preston still came out strong in the second half and a foul in the box gave Preston a penalty. Carter took the spot kick only to be saved but he duly slotted away the rebound.

Hawley then created a great cross for Sedgewick to head home before Agyemang scored two late goals, one a mistake as he was on as a sub.

Preston now travel to two away games in a much more positive frame of mind with three games undefeated behind them.
