Back To Back Away Wins

It is no surprise that with players returning from injury, new signings and a greater depth of squad for Neil to choose from ahs coincided with a return to good form after a wretched month.

Preston followed up their emphatic win at QPR with victory away at Stoke. Browne scored in the first half after Fisher had an initial effort thwarted. Potts then scored his second in two games after a combination of passes started by Pearson put him clean through.

Injured players are returning and the impact of Potts along with Stockley has been felt at the top end of the pitch. North End managed to keep a clean sheet at stoke thanks to a Ben Davies clearance.

Preston will be hoping to build on the clean sheet as this is an area where they have been poor this season. It seems Neil is looking towards the younger players to establish themselves to resolve the defensive problems.

North End will now face a tough home game on Friday night against Derby which wil show how far Preston have really turned the corner.
