News on Thursday evening broke that several North End Players were helping the NCA with enquries into the spot fixing allegations where several players from other clubs had already been arrested.
North End put out a statement which did not really confirm anything but sent out a message that all players were up for selection. The Daily Mail and other organistations went one step further naming the six Preston players who had been arrested withotu charged and bailed over the spot fixing allegations.
Welsh, Buchanan, Keane, Wright, Cummings and Ben Davies deny any wrong doing and have been backed by Simon Grayson. The club must now wait as to whetehr the NCA decides to take any further action.
