Common Sense Prevails

Shaw after meeting with ground safety has decided that in future all Cup ties against lower league sides and pre-season matches will now not be all ticket. There will be turnstiles open for cash payment as in this pre-season but tickets for unreserved seating can be bought in advance.

This shows a change in attitude from the past few seasons where fans have been unable to pay on the gate resulting in people who on the off chance wanted to watch a game at Deepdale had to queue up often missing the start of games. Although championship games will remain all ticket fans may now ask that payment on the turnstiles be introduced to all games to stop the ridiculous queues at the ticket office onmatchday.
