Davey was given the Bsrnsley job as his first role in management after Andy Ritchie got the boot and successful kept Barnsley in the Championship last season and has them firing on all cylinders this term.
Davey rule dout a return to Deepdale citing the fact that he has a job to do at Barnsley and owes it to the board as they gave him his first job in management. He is also looking to negotiate a new contract at Barnsley.
