Everton Out City In

After already splashing the cas in pre-season Everton are somewhat reluctant to meet the asking price for David Nugent and have warned that they may wait until the Winter transfer window as more cash will be available to the Merseysiders. This will come as a blow to Nugent who is a boyhood fan of Everton.

Sunderland and West Ham are the only club to have had bids accepted so far but ex-England manager Sven Goran Ericsson has expressed an interest in Nugent with his imminent arrival as Manchester City manager backed up by a multi-million pound takeover.

Nugent returns at the weekend and hopefully sometime next week his future will be decided.
