Future of Midfield to be Decided

It has emerged that Dave Jones will sit down with manager Billy Davies over the festive period to talk over the remainder of the season and where his future lies. Davies is optimistic that the United youngster will commit to his loan deal by staying at Deepdale for the remainder of the season.

Erik Skora who recently returned early from his loan spell at Walsall because of a ligament injury is to hold talks with Billy Davies in the New Year over his future at Preston. Skora is out of contract at the end of the season and wishes to know if a new one will be offered. If not he is hopeful that a deal can be agreed with the Saddlers to make his loan move permanent. The midfielder has also interested Scottish side Kilmarnock but with a newborn child he has stated how much he has enjoyed his time at Walsall scoring twice in his four game spell.

Paul Mckenna will be out for upto four weeks after doctors diagnosed a more serious injury to his leg than first thought. Callum Davidson is also expected to be out for longer than first anticipated.
