"I think we can still make up ground and be in contention"

Craig Brown insists that PNE are still in with a chance of promotion, even after the dreadful start claiming: "Fortunately there is still a long way to go. We can still make up the ground and get ourselves into contention."

Brown must be a lot more relieved than last week, where PNE were playing well and one nil up at Bradford to lose it painfully 2-1 in the last minutes. But since then his team have comfortably beat two teams Coventry and Rotherham at Deepdale.

Away points are a must, states the Boss: "I honestly think form away from home has been very good, we just haven't got the points that we deserved.
"We drew at Wigan and they're beating every one at the minute. I believe we got robbed at West Brom.
"And I still can't believe we got beat at Bradford last week after we dominated the game.
"So I am not despondent about our away form, I think we will get victories on the road.
