Mind Games Start

With Nugent suspended Simpson is left with strikers who are not fully fit. Mellor has just had an operation and is ruled out for a further three weeks whilst Smith is still continuing his comeback from a long lay off.

Ormerod has appeared on the bench but not started since the play off defeat to Leeds when he broke a leg. Dichio has been carrying an injury and only just made the team last week whilst Agyemang has been ruled out for the last few games.

However, it would seem likely that Agyemang will start after being ready for last weekend's clash with Hull but was rested and free scoring Dichio has been wrapped up in cotton wool this week so he could play on Friday. Ormerod is likely to keep his place on the bench.
