Nugent In Contract Talks

After the transfer window firmly shut down it appears that David Nugent has opened negotiations with the club to extend his current contract which lasts for two years. Since joining the club a year ago, Nugent has been attracting a lot of attention. he was signed from Bury for only £100,000 but was an instant hit scoring in front of the Sky cameras against Ipswich and playing for the England under 21's. His price tag has rocketed and Everton have been tipped to lure nugent away from Deepdale in recent times but he seems positive about signing a new deal with Preston.
